We have previously introduced the characteristics, advantages and application examples of active solar road stud. We have installed active solar road studs in some tunnels in Guangxi Province, which effectively ensures the lighting in the tunnel.

When installing active solar road stud, pay attention to the following matters. First of all, it is necessary to clarify the installation position of the active solar road stud: the active solar road stud is generally installed on the side wall of the tunnel cable trench.

In this step, use a ruler to determine the installation position of the active solar road stud, and the height is designed according to the drawing. Ensure that all active solar road studs are in a straight line longitudinally and aligned laterally to the left and right at the same time. The installation distance of active solar road stud shall be subject to the design requirements.

Next, the positioning and drilling activities are carried out according to the hole positions on both sides of the active solar road stud. The rubber plug needs to be smashed into the drilled hole, and the wall hole is drilled between the two holes. It is determined according to the wire diameter of the active solar road stud.

Glue is required to install active solar road stud. The ratio of glue for installing active solar road stud is 1:0.7 of a glue and B glue, and then add 15% – 30% cement as filler. Here, it should be noted that the glue is not easy to stir too much at a time. It is enough for one person to stick 50-70 road stud glue.

The colloid used to install the active solar road stud shall be stirred evenly with an electric hand drill and a stirrer, and the color shall be consistent. Each active solar road stud requires about 30-40 grams of glue. The number of active solar road studs to be installed needs to be calculated in advance.
